Have you given up on your dreams?

I’m astonished by how many people I love that have given up on their dreams. They live a mediocre life, that doesn’t satisfy them, but have forgotten where they were headed in the first place.

What do you do? Do you love it? Do you love your life each day? Are you filled with joy as your eyes open each morning? If not, what are you waiting for? I mean, you know we only get to do this once (well maybe more, but no one really knows so why not enjoy this round?). What scares you about pursuing your dreams? Do you even remember what they are?

If you don’t keep the vision there is no way you can manifest it. Where would you live? What would you do for work? How much would you earn? Who would you spend your time with? what would you eat? Where would you vacation? How long has it been since you really thought about it? Did you just give up? You, give up? Really? Nah, I didn’t think so. Might have put it all on pause, but never give up.

What if you could have it all? I know, seems impossible right? But what if? What if the life of your dreams was waiting for you? What if you were one step away? What would you be willing to do to achieve it?

I read a book called “One Minute Millionaire” cheezy title, I know. Not sure how it made it into my hands. But it’s good. But there is one point where there is a mentor, and the student needs to make a million dollars within 90 days to win a bet. The mentor asks the student to go to the mall parking lot and hand out business cards offering to buy or sell houses ( a real estate flipping thing) and the student said that made her too uncomfortable, she couldn’t possible do that all day. The mentor asked her if she would be willing to do it if the mentor paid her $100 for each business card handed out. The student said “yes, of course”. At this point the mentor pointed out that if they earned $20k profit on a real estate deal from one lead it would equal greater than $100 for each card handed out.

This point always sticks with me. What would you be willing to do, if it could bring your dreams to life? What would you risk? What would you endure if it meant you knew it would all come true? What are you avoiding right now that is like the business cards in the parking lot?

Food for thought…
